Rancho Conejo is still a relatively young neighborhood, when you put it in comparison with some of the other neighborhoods located around the Conejo Valley and Los Angeles area. The neighborhood was a planned development, which began development in the early 1990's and it's first home being available in 1991. In fact, this June of 2021 will mark the community's 30th Anniversary.
This was a semi-planned community, meaning most of the homes within it's borders are planned, and therefore share the same floorplans as many of the other homes. Do not fret though, as there are many different floorplans within the community that are well thought out, and there are also some custom homes in the neighborhood as well! The homes within the community can range from smaller, single-story bedrooms for a first-time homebuyer or someone who just needs a smaller home, all the way up to larger 4000+ square foot estates with magnificent views. There is a ton of variety in this neighborhood to pick from, which is one of the many reasons so many people want to live here! No matter what your tastes are in a home, you will likely find it here! You can check out some of those floorplans below!
Rancho Conejo is located in the Conejo Valley, making it's school district fall under the Conejo Unified School District, which features some fantastic schools for your children!

Did you know that Rancho Conejo used to have an airport? That's right, it did! Originally the Conejo Valley or Janss Airport, it was relocated just above the 101 in the early 60s, however the airport was closed just a few years later in 1966.
Not only was there previously an airport here, but that airport was used to film multiple shows and movies. The greatest and most notable film would be The Three Stooges' film It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. Additionally, the TV series "Hellcats" used the Rancho Conejo Airport for filming as well.
